How did KAIRU turn the fish transparent?
Transparent biological specimens are a method of making biological specimens. They were originally used for scientific research. The specimens used by KAIRU come from abandoned fisheries, exotic species or dead organisms in farms. The integrity of the organisms is not destroyed during production. Next, after multiple treatments with chemicals and dyes, the remains of the dying creatures are reborn into beautiful and unique transparent specimens.

Loricariidae
The body is long, slightly flattened on the sides, and is covered with hard bony plates. Some species have whiskers or mastoid structures on the snout, and spines on the front end. Compared with other fish species, they have relatively long intestines. It is the most numerous family in the order Siluriformes. It is difficult to classify due to geographical changes and individual differences.
Features that can be used for identification include body color, tooth-like structure on the snout, tooth structure, distribution of scales or relative proportions between different features.
Currently, different species of Pipa rats can be seen in the wild in Taiwan, and can be found in major rivers and streams in the north, central and south. In Taiwan, because they have been abandoned by the public for many years or escaped during breeding, and have adapted to the local environment, the wild population continues to expand, and habitat competition and harassment of native species occur. Pipa rats have hard and tough specialized scales and hard spines that can resist predator attacks or ingestion, and can slow down water loss when out of the water body. They are highly adaptable to adversities such as food lack, hypoxia, and desiccation. sex.
